Ben Davies trained at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, a massage school which trains therapists to combine a wide array of techniques to suit each client’s individual needs. He studied Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Connective Tissue Massage, and basic elements of Cranial Sacral, Polarity Therapy, and some of the Asian modalities. Rather than using one technique, Ben combines different therapeutic approaches to optimise each treatment session. Ben regularly treats athletes competing at the national level and places a heavy emphasis on trigger points. He finds that trigger point therapy can enhance the beneficial effects of massage treatments for all of his clients. Ben is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is also currently training to be an Acupuncturist at the College of Chinese Integrated Medicine.

Dorothee Maiden.  After completing undergraduate studies in medicine at the Free University of Berlin, Dorothee moved to Oxford with her husband where she took a career break to raise her family. Rather than resuming a career in conventional medicine, she chose to retrain in manual therapies and gained a Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage at the Oxford School of Sports Massage. This training equipped her with sound massage skills and advanced techniques which include Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Technique, and Neuromuscular Technique. Dorothee is a skilful, caring therapist who advocates using these techniques to help reduce tension and pain. She also recommends using appropriate stretches, exercises, and postural awareness to help address imbalances. Dorothee is a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage.
